Threshold

This project was profoundly formative for me, exposing me to a diverse array of artmaking techniques and methodologies. Collaborating with artist Carrie Gault, I dedicated the summer of 2023 to assisting her with the installation piece 'Threshold' at Virginia Tech University. 'Threshold' delves into the complex relationships between the campus, its historical ties to enslaved individuals and indigenous communities, and the enduring presence of native plants. It's a poignant exploration of the interconnectedness between past and present, inviting contemplation on the evolving landscape of the university.
